- How it’s built
This website was built with AI. Explore what it can do.
One person directed it and AI agents built it: the design, the code and the words. Every page was checked by that person before it went live. If AI can build this, it can build yours. This is how it was made, what is inside it, and what the claim does and does not cover.
What the claim covers
Built with AI. Here’s exactly what that means.
A website built with AI is one where AI agents do the making, and a person decides what gets made and checks the result. That is how this one was built.
It means
- The design, the code and the copy were produced with AI agents.
- One person, the founder, directed the work, reviewed it, shipped it and is responsible for every line.
It does not mean
- That no people, no other software or no other services were involved.
- Anything about how long it took, or what it would cost to build for you.
- That AI runs the site. It was used to make it, not to operate it.
Who did what
One expert. A team of AI agents.
The same split every project of ours runs on: a person decides, AI agents build, the person checks.
The founder
- Decided what the site is for, who it is for and what it says.
- Directed the design, and chose between the options AI produced.
- Reviewed every page before it went live, and answers for it.
The AI agents
- Wrote the code, page by page, from the founder’s direction.
- Drafted the copy, for the founder to edit or replace.
- Wrote and ran the tests that check the site and its claims.
The agents are Claude Code, Anthropic’s coding agent, run by the founder. Want to work this way yourself? That is what practical AI training is for.
What is inside it
Six things every build includes. Here they are on this one.
These are the six parts of every website we build, each as it exists on this site, so you can check it rather than take our word for it.
Bespoke web design
No template and no CSS framework. Every rule is plain CSS written for this site, the logo is drawn in code, and the three typefaces are served from the site itself.
Copy that sells
Drafted with AI, then edited by the founder. What we sell is written once, in one place, and every page reads it from there, so two pages cannot describe the offer differently.
Web development
Every page arrives as finished HTML from the server, so it can be read before any script runs. Addresses that have changed redirect to their new pages.
SEO
One list of pages generates the sitemap, every canonical address and the breadcrumbs, so they cannot disagree. Each page has its own title and description, and one job in search.
AEO (answer engine optimisation)
Questions are answered in their first sentence. Structured data says who we are, what each service is and which questions a page answers, and the site welcomes AI crawlers by name.
Conversion and tracking
The booking button on every page reads free times from a real calendar and writes your call into it. Visits are counted as totals, with no advertising cookies and nobody identified.
Check it yourselfThe sitemap · robots.txt · llms.txt
What each of the six does for your business is on website design and development.
When you use it
No AI runs when you use this site. AI made it. Code runs it.
Nothing here calls an AI model while you browse, answer questions or book a call. The Build page reads like a conversation, and it is rules written in code.
- 01
You answer a few questionsCode, no AI
The Build page asks what you need, one question at a time, and fills in a form as you answer. You can type an answer or pick one.
- 02
Code checks each answerCode, no AI
Every answer is checked by a rule before it goes into the form. Nothing you type leaves your browser at this stage.
- 03
You check the form and send itCode, no AI
Once the form is filled you can change any answer. Nothing is sent until you press Send.
- 04
It reaches us, and you get a copyCode, no AI
Your brief is emailed to us, and a copy to you with a link that deletes our stored copy whenever you like. A call you book goes straight into a real calendar.
There is no AI model anywhere in this site’s code. If one is ever added, this page will say so.
What it is made of
A short list. Each part has one job.
We prefer a few tools we control to a big framework we don’t. These are all the parts that matter.
The pages
- Next.js 16, App Router
- Every page is rendered on the server, so it arrives as finished HTML.
- React 19
- The interface, and the transitions between pages.
- Plain CSS
- Every rule on the site. There is no CSS framework.
The look and the motion
- three.js
- The field of dots behind the pages, drawn directly rather than through a React renderer.
- motion
- The interface’s own animation: the navigation, the menu and the Build page.
- Inter, IBM Plex Mono, Gloria Hallelujah
- The three typefaces, served from this site. Nothing is fetched from a font service.
AI when you use it
- None running
- No AI model is called while you use the site, and the site contains no code that calls one.
What is kept, and where
- Postgres, on Neon
- A brief once you have asked for one, and the daily visit totals. Nothing you type is stored before you leave a name and an email.
- Email over SMTP
- Sends your brief to you from the site’s own address.
- A calendar, over CalDAV
- Booking reads free times from the calendar and writes your call into it. There is no separate booking database.
- Vercel
- Hosting.
Questions
Websites built with AI, answered.
Can AI build a whole website?
Yes, with a person directing it. This website is the example: AI agents wrote the code and drafted the copy, and the founder decided what it should say and do, reviewed every page and answers for the result. AI does the building. Deciding what to build is still a person’s job.
Does this website use AI when I use it?
No. Nothing on this site calls an AI model while you use it. The questions on the Build page are checked by rules written in code, and the brief you send is your own words, as you typed them. AI was used to make the site, not to run it.
Is a website built with AI good for SEO?
It can be, because SEO depends on how a site is built, not on who typed the code. This one sends every page as finished HTML, generates its sitemap from one list of pages, and gives each page its own title, description and structured data. No build can promise a ranking, and ours does not.
Which AI tools built this website?
Claude Code, Anthropic’s coding agent, wrote the code and drafted the copy, directed by the founder. The site itself runs on ordinary web technology: Next.js, React, three.js and plain CSS. The full list of parts is on this page.
How long did it take, and what did it cost?
This page does not say, on purpose. The site is our own lab and has been rebuilt many times, so its timeline says nothing about yours. A client project gets its own scope, dates and price in a written proposal.
Will my website look like this one?
No. This site is ours, and it is deliberately a showpiece. Yours is designed around your brand and your customers, so it looks like your business. What carries over is what is inside: the design care, the copy, the SEO and AEO, and a clear path to an enquiry.
What it is evidence of
What it shows. And what it doesn’t.
That work like this can be made with AI, to this standard, and that the method holds up when you look closely.
It is not a delivery timescale or a price for your project. Those are agreed in a written proposal.
