How we keep excellent work within your reach.

We exist to make excellent digital work possible for every business, and the way we work is how. Every project runs the same way, whether it’s a website, an app or AI training: a free scoping call, a written proposal, the work, and a handover that leaves it yours. This page covers what is the same for all three.

How a project starts

Most projects start with a free scoping call.

Most work goes from a free scoping call to a written proposal. A paid diagnostic is only for real uncertainty, and never a gate to ordinary projects.

  1. A free call or brief

A clear picture of what you need, a sensible direction, and the questions a proposal has to answer.

Always available. Book a call, or answer a few questions on the Build page and get a written brief.

It is a starting point, not an agreed scope.

  2. A written proposal

The scope, timeline, milestones, sign-off and handover for a clear project.

When we understand what you need. Most website, marketing and training work starts here.

No diagnostic is needed for work we can already scope.

  3. A paid diagnostic

A look into your systems and options, ending in a written recommendation you keep, whoever does the work.

Only when there is real uncertainty: an existing system to untangle, an idea that may not be buildable, or routes with very different costs.

It is quoted on its own and never a gate to ordinary projects.

Who does the work

One expert. A team of AI agents.

You work with the founder, directly, from the first call to handover. With AI agents doing the making, your project moves fast. We’re AI-native, not AI on autopilot: a person checks all of it before it ships.

  • The founder scopes the project, directs the work and reviews everything before it ships.
  • AI agents write the code, draft the copy and run the tests, at speed.
  • No account managers and no juniors: the person you speak to is the person responsible.

To see that on a real build, read how this website was built with AI. To meet the founder, see about SBW Labs. For why that makes the work fast and affordable, read how an AI-native agency delivers fast and stays affordable.

Three ways of working

We build it, build it with you, or teach you.

You choose which. If you’re not sure, the scoping call is where we work it out together.

  • Built for you

We build it and hand it over.

Your website, marketing or app, built to an agreed scope and handed over with everything you need to run it.

    Fit
Best when you want the finished result and don’t need to learn how it was made.
    Starts with
A free call, then a written proposal.
  • Built with your team

We build it, and your team learns as we go.

The same build, done alongside your people, with sessions, practice and a working guide, so your team can run it and change it without us.

    Fit
Best when you want the result and the skills behind it. It takes more of our time, so it is quoted above the same build done for you.
    Starts with
A proposal that names who takes part, the sessions, and what they will be able to do at the end.
  • Learn to use AI

Hands-on AI training, on its own.

Practical AI training on real tasks from your own work. You leave with a way of working, a guide you keep, and checks that tell good output from bad. Bought on its own, with no build attached.

    Fit
Best when you, or your team, want to use AI confidently and well.
    Starts with
A free call about which tasks are worth learning on, then a proposal.

For a website, see website design and development. For software, see custom apps, platforms and dashboards. For the jobs that repeat, see AI automation for business. To do it yourself, see practical AI training.

What a proposal contains

Seven sections, every time.

However a project starts, the proposal covers the same seven things.

Dates go in once the scope, your inputs and our availability are agreed, and the first thing you can see is dated as its own milestone. We commit to build and launch dates. We don’t promise rankings: what Google and AI search do afterwards is not something anyone controls.

Proposal

Fit
What we understood you need, and anything we would not recommend.
Inputs
What we need from you, and by when.
Scope
What is included, what is quoted separately, and what is left out.
Milestones
The first thing you can see, dated, and the launch date.
Review and sign-off
How you check the work, and what “done” means.
Handover
What you receive, what you own, and how to run it.
Price and terms
The quote for this scope, payment stages, and how changes are handled.

Pricing

How pricing works. Quoted on your scope.

Every project is quoted on its own scope, so you only pay for what you need. There is no standard price list: if your budget is fixed, we shape the scope to fit it.

One expert leads the work and AI agents do the making, so there is little overhead to pay for. That keeps our prices affordable.

Expedited scheduling, review obligations and teaching effort are priced explicitly in the proposal, never absorbed and never implied.

After handover

Handover is part of the build. Anything after it is up to you.

Handover and an agreed period of fixes are part of every build. There is no subscription.

Optional, quoted separately

Maintenance
Updates, monitoring and small changes on a schedule you agree.
Improvements
A next round of work once the site is live and you can see what’s working.
Marketing
The promotion work your proposal listed separately.
More training
Extra sessions for the same team, or a new one.

Each comes with its tasks, schedule, response times, price and how to cancel. Nothing recurring starts unless you ask for it.

Questions

Working with us, answered.

How do I start a project with SBW Labs?

Book a free scoping call, or answer a few questions on the Build page and get a written brief. Most projects go straight from that call to a written proposal, with no paid step in between.

What happens on the free scoping call?

We ask about your business and where you want to take it, and you leave with a clear picture of what you need, a sensible direction, and the questions a proposal has to answer. It is free. It is a starting point, not an agreed scope.

What do you need from me before work starts?

Your material, your access and one person who can approve the work. For a website that means your logo, photos and any existing text, and access to your domain and hosting. The proposal lists everything we need from you, and by when.

What happens if the scope changes part-way through?

If something arrives late or the scope changes, we agree new dates in writing. Every proposal says how changes are handled before work starts, so nothing moves without you agreeing to it.

Do you promise rankings or results?

No. We commit to what we control: the scope, the build and the launch date. Every website is built to be found, with SEO and AEO in the build, but what Google and AI search do afterwards is not something anyone can honestly promise.

Is there a subscription or a tie-in after launch?

No. Handover and an agreed period of fixes are part of every build. There is no subscription. Ongoing care is optional and quoted separately, and nothing recurring starts unless you ask for it.

Start with a free scoping call. Or write it down first.

Book a call or send an email. Prefer to write it down first? Answer a few questions and we’ll turn them into a brief.
