Free · Checked by a person

A free expert audit of your website.

Every business deserves to know what its website is doing for it. An expert look at your website from three sides: a visitor’s, a search engine’s and an AI assistant’s. You get a one-page written audit, every finding checked by a person, and a free call to go through it.

Ask for your free audit

On the Build page, choose “A free website audit”.

What we check

Three sides of the same website.

A visitor, a search engine and an AI assistant each meet your site differently. The audit looks at it as all three do.

  1. What a visitor sees

Whether someone who lands on your site can tell what you do and get in touch.

    • Whether a phone number, an email or a booking is easy to reach from every page
    • How the site works on a phone, from the first screen to the enquiry
    • Whether the first screen says plainly what the business does and who it is for
    • Links that lead nowhere, and forms that ask for more than they need
  2. What a search engine sees

Whether Google and Bing can tell what each page is about, and show it well.

    • A title and a description on each page that say what it is
    • Whether the business, its services and its contact details are marked up for search engines
    • How quickly the page loads on a phone
    • What a link to the site shows when it is shared on WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook
  3. What an AI assistant sees

Whether assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Google’s AI answers can find your answers and describe you correctly.

    • Whether the questions your customers ask are answered in plain words on the page
    • Whether the business is described the same way everywhere it appears
    • Whether the important words are on the page itself, not only inside pictures
    • Whether anything stops search and AI crawlers from reaching the site

What you get

One page, and a call if you want it.

A one-page written audit by email: what we found, the evidence for each finding, and what to fix first.

Your audit

What a visitor sees
Whether someone who lands on your site can tell what you do and get in touch.
What a search engine sees
Whether Google and Bing can tell what each page is about, and show it well.
What an AI assistant sees
Whether assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Google’s AI answers can find your answers and describe you correctly.
What to fix first
The changes that matter most, in the order we would make them.
  • A free call to walk through it, if you would like one. Nothing to buy and nothing to sign.

  • Automated checks do the first pass. A person then goes through your site and checks every finding before the audit reaches you, and nothing goes in that we have not seen on your site.

How it works

Four steps, nothing to sign.

  1. Ask

Choose “A free website audit” on the Build page, and tell us your website’s address and what it should do for your business.

  2. We look

We go through your site from all three sides and check every finding by hand.

  3. You get the audit

A one-page written audit by email, with the evidence for each finding.

  4. We talk it through

A free call to go through it and answer your questions, if you want one.

What it covers

What anyone can see from outside.

It is

  • A look at everything anyone can see from outside your website
  • Every finding written down with its evidence
  • Free, with no obligation to buy anything

It is not

  • A look inside your systems, code or accounts: that is the paid diagnostic’s job, when one is needed
  • A promise of rankings or enquiries: what search engines and assistants do is not something anyone controls
  • Legal advice: where a rule applies, your adviser decides

By industry

Some businesses have a fourth side.

Clinics, dental practices, beauty salons and hairdressers each meet rules on their website that most businesses never think about. Each has its own audit: the same three sides, and that fourth.

In person

Rather meet? London and South Wales.

We are based in London and in Swansea, and meet in person in each place below: there the audit ends face to face, and checks how you are found locally. Online is always there instead, wherever you are in the UK, and the audit is the same either way.

Questions

The free audit, answered.

How do I know if my website is working?

Your website is working if the people you want can find it, can tell from the first screen what you do, and can get in touch easily on a phone. If any one of the three fails, that is where enquiries are lost, however good the rest of the site is. The audit checks all three, from a visitor’s, a search engine’s and an AI assistant’s side, every finding with its evidence.

Why is my website getting visitors but no enquiries?

Either the visitors are not the people you want, or something stops them between arriving and getting in touch: they cannot tell quickly what you do, the way to contact you is hard to find on a phone, or the form asks too much or does not work. Both can be seen from outside your site. The audit checks what visitors meet, from the first screen to the enquiry, and what search engines show them before they arrive.

How do I get more leads from my website?

Fix the places where leads are lost before paying for more visitors: being found, being clear and being easy to contact. That means search engines and AI assistants can tell what each page is about, the first screen says what you do and for whom, and a phone number, email or booking is within reach on every page. Nobody can promise the leads, so the audit shows where your site falls short on each, with the evidence, and what to fix first.

Why isn’t my business showing on Google Maps?

Because the map results come from Google Business Profiles, not from websites: without a profile, a business is not in them, however good its site. With one, Google ranks the results by how well a profile matches the search, how far the business is from the person searching and how well known it is. The audit looks at your profile as well as your site, and says so if you have none.

Is the website audit really free?

Yes. There is nothing to pay and nothing to sign. If you want help with what it finds, we can talk about that on the call, and whether you do is up to you.

What do you need from me?

Your website’s address and a sentence about what it should do for your business, on the Build page, with your name and email so we can send the audit. No logins and no access to any of your accounts.

Is it an automated report?

No. Automated checks do the first pass, then a person goes through your site and checks every finding before the audit reaches you. Anything we could not see for ourselves stays out.

Will it tell me how to rank higher?

It shows what search engines and AI assistants can and cannot make sense of on your site, and what to fix first. Nobody controls rankings, so we never promise one.

Do you audit websites you did not build?

Yes. Any website, whoever built it and whatever it runs on: the audit looks at what anyone can see from outside, so the platform does not matter.

How is it different from a paid diagnostic?

The audit covers what is visible from outside your website. A paid diagnostic looks inside: your systems, your options and what it would take to change them, ending in a written recommendation. Most businesses never need one.

Your free audit starts here.

Tell us your website’s address on the Build page and choose “A free website audit”. Or book a call or send an email, if you would rather talk first.
